Who is the Standards Australia Store mobile app for?
The mobile app has been designed to provide low-cost access to standards for individuals. It is ideal for tradespeople, technicians, and workers who want the ability to view standards in real-time via their mobile phones.
What is a Curated Subscription?
Our Curated Subscription solution brings together commonly referenced publications from our Australian Standards catalogue, creating specialised content sets across different industries.
Will I have consistent offline access if required? E.g., on a job site without reception/internet access. Can I download a file of my publications?
Yes, after opening a publication in the mobile app for the first time, you will retain access to it via cached access for 30 days, even without internet. However, you cannot download a file to your device as a separate file; the content is only available through the app. Please note you must also have logged into your account at least once in the previous 30 days.
What devices are supported?
The app is exclusively designed and optimised for mobile phones. For optimal performance, ensure your device runs on iOS version 15 or higher for Apple devices and Android OS version 9 or higher for Android devices.
Can I pick my own publications I want to access as part of Mobile Only Access?
We currently do not offer this, however we plan to expand the range of publications and sets available for Mobile Only Access in the future.
Are there any restrictions on who can subscribe to Mobile Only Access?
Any Australian-based customer can subscribe to a Curated Subscription for Mobile Only Access, noting that only one license is available per subscription.
Aren't standards difficult to read on a small phone screen?
No, the mobile app has been specifically designed to ensure easy viewing and navigation on smaller screens.
